BART service resumes on Blue and Green lines following earlier disruption

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Service on BART’s Blue and Green lines was disrupted by a fire Monday but has resumed, according to the transit agency. As of 12:48 p.m., BART said normal service had resumed on both lines and on the Red Line.

A 20-minute delay was still expected on the San Francisco Line in all directions due to an equipment problem on the track near Daly City station, BART said.

Passengers traveling from the San Francisco line were advised to board Antioch or Bay Point trains and transfer at 24th Street Mission of a Berryessa or Dublin/Pleasanton train. Daly City-bound passengers are advised to transfer at 24th Street Mission to an SFO-bound train.

No other details were immediately provided.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
