But it seems she hasn’t aged a day, over 30 years after the cult movie inspired the darker TV series.

Her Instagram shows that she still sports that huge beaming smile and looks more youthful than ever with her blonde hair.

The Hollywood actress has a son with her skating partner Lloyd Eisler whom she competed with in Skating With Celebrities.

Before her acclaimed role as Buffy Summers she had a part in ‘Hot Shots!’ alongside Charlie Sheen and Cary Elwes in 1991.

Her first role was in 1986 when she played the non-speaking role of Duckette in Pretty In Pink alongside the likes of legendary actress Molly Ringwald.

The very same year she also starred another John Hughes flick, the hit teen comedy film, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

Swanson went on to appear in other shows such as Knots Landing, Nightingales, and a short-lived Burt Reynolds television series called BL Stryker.
